Is your machinery designed exclusively for Light Wood Frame construction?

No, our machinery can also handle structures made in steel and Cross Laminated Timber (CLT).

What control technologies do you use?

PLC controllers are from Siemens and robotics are controlled by ABB.

Will the system comply to CSA standards?

Yes, all electrical components are CSA-certified and will be verified/certified by Intertek (ETL) before shipping and upon arrival at your site. The machinery is also CE-marked.

Who performs the installation of your machinery?

A combination of Triweco staff and a local reputable sub-contractor in your province, trained by Triweco. Your agreement will be with Triweco, not the subcontractor, and we take full responsibility for them.

Is setup and validation at the factory included?

Installation, testing and commissioning is included in the overall service. We perform a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Sweden, and then a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and operator training at your factory using your own material to ensure everything runs perfectly before closing the installation. The Triweco team can also be available on-site for support during startup.

How does service and support work?

We provide access to local support via local subcontractors trained by Triweco. The Triweco team in Sweden will also be available remotely.

What safety features are built into the machinery?

Multifunction bridges are equipped with safety cages and laser systems that automatically stop the machinery if an operator enters the area while it is in operation. Hydraulic machinery features hold-to-run control systems to ensure operator safety. Emergency stops are always installed at various places along our production line which stops the whole line if an accident happens. We can also install laser barriers that stops the line if an operator steps into the machinery area when it is in use and moving. Comprehensive operator safety training is part of our installation process, and each machine must of course pass PSR inspection before commissioning.

How many operators are required?

This depends on the expected production volume and capacity across all stations. We work closely with our clients to calculate the optimal labor requirements, ensuring they align with business needs while delivering a reasonable ROI.

Are there any environmental constraints (i.e. temperature, humidity, etc)?

Yes, at least +10°C/50°F with low humidity.
